The Opportunity An established Australian technology consultancy is looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to design and implement secure, scalable environments for government, defence, finance, and enterprise clients. This Sydney-based hybrid position offers the chance to work across major state-level projects, delivering impact that reaches across NSW and beyond. What You’ll Be Doing Architect multi-cloud environments across Azure, AWS, and hybrid platforms. Build automation and infrastructure consistency using Terraform, Bicep, and CloudFormation. Enhance delivery pipelines with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and AWS CodePipeline. Implement Zero Trust security practices and compliance frameworks including Essential Eight, IRAP, GDPR, and PCI DSS. Drive high-value transformation programs from planning through execution. Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and governance uplift. Apply FinOps strategies to optimise cost efficiency at scale. What You’ll Bring Experience delivering enterprise-grade cloud solutions. Depth across Azure and AWS services, networking, and identity management. Strong grounding in compliance and governance within regulated sectors. Proven track record with DevOps and automation toolsets. Clear and confident communication with stakeholders and clients. Recognised certifications such as AZ-305, AZ-500, or AWS Solutions Architect Associate. Current Baseline Security Clearance or eligibility to obtain. Why This Role?
